Chalie Boy Loses Mum,Aged 101

The last forty -Eight hours seems not  the best of times for Imo State born Musician Charlie Oputa, as he recently lost his aged mother to the cold hands of death.
The late Margaret Ntianu Oputa, his mother, died at a grand old age of 101.

The veteran singer and songwriter took to his Facebook page  among other social media handles of his to break the news. He also disclosed that she passed away on Tuesday.
“I wish to announce the death of our Mother Mrs Margaret Ntianu Oputa nee Onumonu which occurred Tuesday the 8th of October, 2019,” he wrote, accompanying the post with a photo of himself and his mother.
