Afam Okereke returns with "Just a Wish

Top flight Nollywood movie maker ,Afam Okereke who took time off from the world of make believe to have a stint in politics has staged a comeback to his first love, with a new movie project titled," Just a Wish".
The Nkanu born graduate of Mass Communication who during his run in politics served as a senior special assistant on media and communication to His Excellency, Governor Sullivan I. Chime, Transition and elected chairman of Nkanu West local government Area in Enugu State recently gathered tested role interpreters like; Ebere Okaro Tana Adelana, Kenneth Okolie, Bimbo Ademoye, Paul Sambo ,PhilDaniels Aniedo among others . He also introduced Adaeze Okonkwo in the movie,"Just a Wish",a project he wrote, produced, directed and financed. Working alongside Afam Okereke in the crew department with a state of the art movie making equipment were capable hands like; Okechukwu Oku, Darlington Kelechi (DOP and cameraman) Austin Onyema,(continuity) Ogochukwu Okechi (wardrobe) and Innocent Abah (Make up) Elijah Okoro Associate Producer and Tochukwu Odoh who worked as production manager .
Just a Wish a tense family drama with lots of suspense and inherent lesson is based on a true life story that promises to keep viewers glued to their screen. The movie shot in the serene metropolis of Enugu state sought answers to some thought provoking questions that is licensed to thrill movie lovers and equally educate them.
As a writer,director and producer,Afam Okereke has risen through the ranks in Nollywood as an actor, production assistant/manager, associate producer cum producer,assistant director and director. He currently have over eighty two movies in his kitty. Top among  his applauded works are; The Billionaires Club, War College, The General, Back Drop, My Sister My Love, Ladies Gang, Sound of Pain, Feel My Pain, Beyonce and Rihana, Most Wanted Bachelor, Love and Likeness, Rush Hour, Kingdom Apart, Breath Again, Occultic Kingdom, Arsenal, Abuja Boys, Heavy Rain, Official Fracas among others.
To compliment his return, Afam Okereke who vowed to give back to the industry that brought him fame and exposure established a state-of-the-art audiovisual studio, Afam Okereke Studios. Asked if his sojourn, in politics will not dull his creative skills, Afam Okereke responded thus,"Not at all, I believe my dabbling into politics has sharpened my skills and improved me in human and resources management. I have also found time to improve my educational qualification, with a Masters degree in Public Administration and  a PHD in Human Resources in Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) in view . I believe I am better equipped to serve my audience."
