Rose Mordi Elected Chairperson of ADSN

Rose Modri  with First lady of Zambia Madam Esther Lungu
Mrs Rose Mordi, National President of the Down Syndrome Foundation Nigeria was recently elected the Chairperson of the ADSN.
The African Down Syndrome Network (ADSN) is formed by ten different Down syndrome associations from ten countries including Tanzania, Zanzibar, Botswana, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The ADSN is a fully fledged working network consisting of legally and fully registered national organisations for people with Down syndrome on the African continent.
The network came about as a result of the need to form a formal structure in Africa on the condition in order to be able to alleviate challenges the associations face in Africa, have one stronger voice when advocating and sharing knowledge and expertise on advocacy and information on Down syndrome.
Mrs. Rose Mordi’s election to the office of Chairperson took place at the just concluded convention held in Zambia early this week which the First lady of Zambia Madam Esther Lungu was present.
This is another honour  and milestone not just for Down Syndrome Foundation Nigeria, but for the entire country as a whole.
Congratulations once again to this amiable woman.
